Quick answers
Do I need an account?
No. There's nothing to sign up for and no login wall. Download Lootsy, open it, and start your first quest.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone. Your quests, drops, price history, photos, and receipts live on your device, and there's no Lootsy server holding them. The free tier shows ads, and the app sends a couple of anonymous onboarding stats for analytics. The privacy policy has the details.
Can I move to a new phone?
Yes. One tap exports everything, photos included, to a single backup file. AirDrop it to the new phone, import it, and you're back where you left off.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. The Lootsy Plan is a one-time purchase made in the app through the App Store. Pay once and it's yours.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing you'll be charged for. The 14-day Pro trial needs no card and never auto-charges. When it ends you drop back to the free tier and keep all your data.
Does it work offline?
Yes. There's no sync to wait on, so the list, the budget, and your price history all work with no signal. Only ads on the free tier need a connection.
